2025 Youth of the Year

We also want to recognize our outstanding Impact Center finalists, Michael and Mirrium, as well as our Junior Youth of the Year winners, all of whom were honored on January 31st at The BRIX on the Fox in Carpentersville.

This incredible evening was made possible by the support of our judges—Mark Wetzel (District 300), Tammy Kerr (BGCDT), and BGCDT Board Member Linda Alperin—who helped select this year’s winners. We extend our deepest gratitude to Elgin Community College, Leasing Associates of Barrington Inc. (Will McCoy), and the Seigle Family (Mark Seigle) for their generous scholarship contributions, ensuring our finalists can pursue their college dreams. A special thank you to Dundee Rotary and FASTSIGNS Carpentersville for their support, and to our past Youth of the Year winners, Melanie (2023) and Zaccarra (2024), for returning to inspire the next generation. To our dedicated staff, Board Members, families, and community members—thank you for making this celebration so meaningful.
