Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwest Suburbs (BGCNWS) has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Roxanne Spillett Program Excellence Award, a national recognition presented annually to one Boys & Girls Club organization that demonstrates exceptional commitment to program quality and youth development.
BGCNWS was recognized for its intentional, consistent, and systematic efforts to advance program quality across all Club sites. Through strong structures, practices, and a focus on continuous quality improvement, the organization works to ensure that every young person has access to a high-quality Club experience.
The Roxanne Spillett Program Excellence Award recognizes organizations that excel in designing and delivering impactful programming for youth and teens.
As part of this recognition, BGCNWS will receive a $25,000 grant to support continued program innovation and youth development efforts. The award will be formally presented at the 2026 Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the end of April.
This recognition reflects the dedication of BGCNWS staff, the engagement of its members, and the ongoing support of community partners and supporters who believe in the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission.
