Perry Club Site: Now Serving Algonquin Lake & Eastview
Our Perry Elementary Club site officially opened during the 2001–2002 school year, serving elementary youth in the Carpentersville community with a safe, fun, and enriching space to learn and grow after school.
As we continue to expand access and impact, we’re excited to share that, beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, our Perry site has also begun hosting members from Algonquin Lakes Elementary and Eastview Elementary (previously served at the St. John’s Church location in Algonquin).
This transition allows us to serve even more families under one roof and continue building brighter futures for our members every day.

Lashunna Moore
Site Director
LaShunna Moore has proudly been part of the Boys & Girls Club family for more than four and a half years, bringing energy, creativity, and just the right amount of organized chaos to every program she leads. In January 2026, she stepped into the role of Site Director at Perry Elementary, where she now oversees daily operations, supports staff, and helps make sure every kid has a safe, fun, and slightly louder-than-expected place to learn and grow.
Known for her ability to juggle schedules, solve problems on the fly, and somehow remember every kid’s name. LaShunna has a natural talent for turning ordinary afternoons into memorable experiences. Whether she’s coordinating activities, encouraging students to try something new, or reminding everyone that “inside voices” are in fact a real thing, she keeps the site running with positivity and a good sense of humor.
